Some of my favourite photos from my travels are of people…but there’s an art and an etiquette to that. It’ll be nicer if you engage the person in a conversation (by sign language if necessary) before asking if you can take their picture. Especially be sure to ask a parent if you can photograph their kid.  And always show them what you got – it can be a very special moment of connection.
